How about some New Year's Eve fun?
A simple Oracle, to see if a wish will come true:
Write your wish on a small piece of paper. Place paper, with writing facing downwards, on a plate. Light one corner with match.
If the whole paper is burnt, you will not be disappointed in your wish.
If only part of the paper and writing is destroyed, you will not get your wish for some time.
If the writing remains untouched, your wish will be granted.
(Safety precaution: always keep a glass of water at hand when burning paper!)
